Cemetery Worker Ensnared by Prostitution Sting

a Cleveland city worker has been suspended after getting arrested in a city car during a prostitution sting.

It happened April 8 at West 78th and Lorain in mid-afternoon.

City Hall says the employee is a cemetery worker, and he’s now suspended without pay until the case moves through court.

The man was released by police at the time with no formal charges though we’ve learned the case is likely to go to a grand jury for charges.

Police say no report is available yet. But multiple sources tell us the city worker is suspected of trying to pick up an undercover officer posing as a prostitute. And officers found suspected marijuana in the car.
